<description>Hitchens has been right about anything, so, I will let that go. However, as I feel and observe in Pakistan, the divide between hardliners and moderates is shrinking in many ways. Today’s youth in Pakistan is much more religious, much more critical of the West and not really interested in Hollywood, Michael Jackson, Levis as was the case 30, 20 or 15 years ago. This is what is freighting. Also, I must say that we should all come together to applaud Obama for addressing the Muslims. Whether he succeeded or not, or will his efforts change any mind or not is difficult to predict, but President Obama is bold and new strategy must be acknowledged and appreciated. Terrorism as we know it is not going to go away any time soon. But, I am confident that the tide will turn and eventually, civility and humanity will overcome hate and senseless violence.

Best,
